The Berg River Resort is located in the Paarl Valley just 60km northeast of Cape Town, perfectly positioned for exploring the Boland, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek Winelands.

  Description:

Situated on the banks of the river, this resort offers a tranquil setting for camping and activities for children of all ages.

There are approximately 150 partially grassed stands for caravans and tents, most of which have 15amp electrical outlets.

There are self-catering family chalets for hire that can cater for 2 to 6 people. These range from bachelor style chalets for 2 people to ones with 2 bedrooms.

Berg River Resorts Cafe provides essentials and meals. Catering for small, private functions and group bookings can be arranged.

Day visitor rates as of the 1st of January 2012:
R60 per person,
R60 per vehicle
Children 3 years and above pay full price

No taxi's
Busses by appointment only
No drop-off's
Families & couples only-
no groups of men or groups of woman will be admitted.
From 23:00 the resort must be quiet.

Right of admission is reserved, staff decisions are final

Vehicles are exempt from charge during months of June, July and August.
